Matthias Schilling, STADA’s Manager of Global People Analytics, emphasizes a nurturing work atmosphere that prioritizes employee wellbeing. STADA’s #CaringForYou initiative addresses mental health by organizing team challenges and offering self-care courses and counselling.

STADA’s commitment to fostering employee growth aligns with its fundamental belief in engaged teams and a culture of advancement. Schilling highlights the focus on diversity, with over half of the management positions held by women and millennials forming a significant part of the workforce. Their HR priorities include promoting engagement, attracting top talent, and driving sustainable change through environmental, social, and governance initiatives.

To elevate employee engagement, STADA partnered with Qualtrics in 2021. Utilizing Qualtrics’ tools for biannual surveys, STADA assesses feedback from joining and departing employees, conducts targeted checks, and employs 360-degree feedback for executives.

Qualtrics has streamlined the process, reflecting in an over 80% participation rate, even from production workers. The integration of QR codes across 57 countries simplifies feedback gathering for employees. In a recent survey, STADA achieved an 88% response rate and an 8.1 out of 10 engagement rating, showcasing high confidence in the company’s goals. Schilling acknowledges focus groups that translate feedback into actionable insights and share outcomes across various platforms, affirming STADA’s culture of transparency.
