Oracle Unveils Tailored HCM Solution Aimed at Empowering Midsize Enterprises

In a strategic move, Oracle has introduced a specialized HCM solution catering to midsize enterprises, aiming to simplify the suite’s implementation while remaining conscious of costs and time constraints. Known as Oracle HCM Now, this offering targets HR leaders in enterprises with up to 15,000 employees. It promises a structured implementation spanning six months, divided into three phases, all at a predetermined cost. This approach not only ensures a streamlined transformation process but also aids enterprises in effectively budgeting for the transition.

The journey begins with foundational elements such as HR and recruiting, gradually progressing to more complex components like payroll and advanced innovations in subsequent phases. It highlights the specific advantages for midsize enterprises, often grappling with limited resources and flexibility for variable implementations. These organizations, often shaped by acquisitions or grassroots efforts, frequently manage their workforce through disparate solutions, including reliance on spreadsheets, and lacking a cohesive organizational structure.

HCM Now steps in as a solution for these organizations, providing an opportunity to optimize people processes using an HCM solution on par with those adopted by larger enterprises. Although initially launched across all industries in North America, Oracle has outlined plans to extend its reach to Europe and other regions shortly. Taking a broader perspective, Oracle now stands out by offering an integrated system tailored for midsize enterprises – a feature typically associated with global industry leaders. This unified tech system has the potential to alleviate the challenges associated with what is referred to as “fragmentation frustration,” where employees grapple with an array of digital tools.

Oracle Cloud HCM’s strength lies not only in technical integration but also in the seamless interconnectedness of all its capabilities. This approach minimizes confusion, enhances user experience, and streamlines functionalities, presenting midsize enterprises with a robust tool to elevate their HR processes.
