Industry Powerhouse Snaps Up Wheebox: Pioneering the Future of Talent Acquisition & Development

PeopleStrong, Asia’s primary HR Tech Company, has finalized the sale of its Assessment and Remote Proctoring Business – Wheebox to ETS, the world’s largest nonprofit educational research and measurement organization. ETS Strategic Capital led the deal, while Credit Suisse offered advisory services. Wheebox will continue as an autonomous majority-owned subsidiary of ETS, focusing on expanding access to education and skills measurement.

ETS, a nonprofit organization, prioritizes equal opportunities in education. With Wheebox’s scalable Assessment and Remote Proctoring technology, they aim to boost research initiatives like the India Skills Report. Wheebox, under PeopleStrong, serves over 1000 clients, conducting 11 million assessments annually across India and the Middle East. This partnership aims to bolster Wheebox’s strategy in India and extend its global reach, focusing on talent measurement and education quality enhancement.

Pankaj Bansal, Co-Founder and Group CEO of PeopleStrong, underscored the crucial role of a proficient workforce. The collaboration strives to provide organizations with all-encompassing assessment solutions, focusing on empowering their workforce. Nirmal Singh and Pawan Kumar, the Cofounders of Wheebox, are lauded for their impactful business. Amit Sevak, ETS CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, citing Wheebox as a valuable addition to their suite of capabilities. The collaboration aims to harness Wheebox’s potential within the broader ETS enterprise.
